| Yesterday on Brian's Facebook page, the question was asked, "what's your favorite song from the new album?" There have been a ton of responses, so out of curiosity I just tallied up every song that was mentioned (Some people mentioned more than one, I counted those. I didn't count the people who said "all of them" - and there were a couple!) Here's how the Facebook fans break it down as of right now - there are still comments coming in: 7 votes for Trouble Train 12 votes for Dead Man Incorporated 12 votes for Kiss Me Deadly 8 votes for Gimme Some Rhythm Daddy 4 votes for Lonely Avenue 4 votes for King of the Whole Damn World 5 votes for Mr Jazzer Goes Surfin' 7 votes for Mr Surfer Goes Jazzin' 1 vote for My Baby Don't Love Me Blues 3 votes for Love Partners in Crime 2 votes for Passion of the Night 8 votes for Dimes in the Jar 2 votes for Elena One of the "Dimes" votes was mine - if I had mentioned multiple songs I would've added "My Baby Don't Love Me Blues" as another favorite, at least at the moment. One person mentioned "the tune you sound like Django on." I think they mean "Jazzer," so that's where I counted it. EDIT: Changed to "Rhythm" upon advice from an actual guitar player So? What's your favorite Song From Lonely Avenue?

| Dimes In The Jar is also my favorite. Mr. Jazzer Goes Surfin' is a very close second. This is quite likely to change. Other tracks lurk close behind. |

I think that person meant Gimme some Rhythm that guitar Solo is very Django-like. Edit: Still waiting for my Copy, stupid Amazon! |

That's what I originally thought too, then I changed it. I'll change it back
What do you like, Webby?? |
Well, just edited my Post, I only know the Tunes that were released before and the short 20 second-files. Amazon says they'll probably deliver it on october 23, and I think there are too many great tunes on it to decide just from the few seconds I have already heard!

| So far I'm digging Mr Jazzer Goes Surfin, Mr Surfer Goes Jazzin' and Dimes in the Jar...I've made it through only one and a half listens so far...Gimme Some Rhythm Daddy is a good listen too. I like the back and forth vocals on that |

| Love Partners In Crime for me, and I don't think that will ever change. I still think it's one of the best songs Brian has ever written. "Sailing from star to star, flying high up in the sky". Ahh, I love it. |

| Current favourite is Kiss me deadly. The melody is a killer, this is going to become a BS classic. |

| Having this tally thing is cool. I hope Brian pays attention and plays the ones that get the most votes on the tour! Hell, it'd be cool if they had a "vote for what new song you wanna hear" button on briansetzer.com.... ya listenin' Surfdog?! |

| I put in my two cents... BUT! The more I listen, the more I realize I can't just CHOOSE favorites. I can narrow her down to about three. "King Of The Whole Damn World" "Trouble Train" "Mr. Surfer Goes Jazzin'" And I'm not even sure. CHEERS! to you, Mr. Setzer. _________________ The Big Bad Wolf, he learned the rule, ya gotta get HOT to play real cool!

| Today the favourites are Kiss me deadly and Lonely Avenue. Funny, the instrumentals are only "ok" today. They kinda pop out from the context. The are fine but I'd prefer more of that jazzy sound PLUS an instrumental ep or sumptin?! |

| For the first time ever, I bought a Setzer album from i tunes, rather than getting the actual CD. I must admit that I was put off a bit by the Wolfgang album which I thought was awful. I have still only played it 3 times!!!! I burnt a CD of Lonely Avenue to take with me in the car to see Swansea City up in Ipswich Town today and have already listened to it 3 times. I must say that it is far more to my liking. My favourite tracks are "Dead Man Incorporated"; "King Of The Whole Damn World" & "Kiss Me Deadly" (although it does go on for an unnecessary length of time IMO). On a side note, my 12 year old son thinks that "Mr Surfer Goes Jazzin'" is an instrumental version of "Rumble In Brighton" and proved it by pretty much singing along to the whole thing. |
