Hey,

not long ago, we've been discussing about the economical viability of the BSO playing in Europe and we've also compared it with the Japanese tours that the BSO has made up to date.

I've searched the capacity of the Japanese venues the BSO has played to the possible venues in Europe, and that's what I've found:

City + Venue / Capacity:

Tokyo - Shibuya Kokaido: 2250

Tokyo - Lemon Hall: 2000

Tokyo - Zepp: 2700

Yokohama - Pacifico: 4000

There are so many brilliant clips on youtube for Brian. From Stray Cats to Nashvillians, 68 comeback to Bso. A lot of folk on here have posted many on Hoodoo over the last year or so. I thought it was about time we found out which of these amazing videos (live, tv, Studio or otherwise) were YOUR most favourite clips of Brian. The best of the best if you like. You can post as many as you like, but please post the actual videos on this thread rather than just a link. That way it's easier to ...

Later in the grocery store an older fella nearly takes me out on his way to the bell peppers, smiles and laughs... later on the other side of the store he almost does it again, but stops dead and says "you first this time! I recognize that shirt!"

Delay pedal question.

Hi,everyone.

I have some question about Brian's sound delay pedal.

I know,he is usually using RE-301.Of course,I have it.

But,I am usually using Fulltone Tube Tape Echo.

The noise of RE is more than that of TTE. Therefore I like TTE.

Q1. Which does everyone use?　What's reason?

Q2. When TTE is used,is tube exchanged?

That's all.

Thanks.

Just wondering what the verdict is on him around here?

Me- I think he's pretty great. He's stood the test of time, and has tried to keep things fresh and interesting through out. I saw him this past spring and he puts on a good show. I don't think his stage volume is as crazy as it was with Crazy Horse, but it's surprisingly loud.

Plus I think he's one of the only old guys I know of, that could probably beat me up. Well, probably one of the many

Analog Delay pedals

Just wondering what the main differences were between a Boss DM-2 and a DM-3? It seems that DM-3's don't quite come up for sale or auction as much as DM-2's and there seems to be quite a few DM-2 clones. BYOC now offers a DM-2 clone kit, so maybe there is a way to switch-er-oo some parts and get a DM-3?

I don't even want to touch on DMM's, I have a DL4 that's pretty handy right now and I mostly use the DMM setting on that. the tube echo setting makes everything too bright and crunchy.

New shirts and stuff available for preorder.

Methinks I'm gonna need one o' them ringer tees with the martini logo to replace my long lost martini glass "Don't Mess With a Big Band" shirt from 1998. I think that's one of the coolest logos ever designed.

Though, I think the Vince Ray design kicks ass too:

I wonder if the "$10 off when you buy two" deal applies to these two...

The Christmas Extravaganza Tour hits the road in 19 days, and I was wondering - are there any HDVDL members going to see any of the shows? Which ones?

There is no show in Colorado this time around, and hundreds of miles of snow-covered mountain highways will keep me from seeing the December 14th Albuquerque show.

All of us who will be unable to attend any shows look forward to reading all of your reports. And on behalf of The Brian Setzer Setlist Archive, thank you in advance for any ...
