I'm selling my guitar amp. Never used.. Story goes - I purchased this amp when I first started playing guitar and then 2 weeks later my brother brought me a Marshall. I've only ever used the Marshall so this amp is technically brand new and never used.

Randall 40W RG40R

It is a few years old, has been stored in a box in my cupboard and never used for the entire time.. Comes with all the leads and manual.. How much should I price it at?

Just wondering what the main differences were between a Boss DM-2 and a DM-3? It seems that DM-3's don't quite come up for sale or auction as much as DM-2's and there seems to be quite a few DM-2 clones. BYOC now offers a DM-2 clone kit, so maybe there is a way to switch-er-oo some parts and get a DM-3?

I don't even want to touch on DMM's, I have a DL4 that's pretty handy right now and I mostly use the DMM setting on that. the tube echo setting makes everything too bright and crunchy.

Methinks I'm gonna need one o' them ringer tees with the martini logo to replace my long lost martini glass "Don't Mess With a Big Band" shirt from 1998. I think that's one of the coolest logos ever designed.

Though, I think the Vince Ray design kicks ass too:

Yesterday on Brian's Facebook page, the question was asked, "what's your favorite song from the new album?" There have been a ton of responses, so out of curiosity I just tallied up every song that was mentioned (Some people mentioned more than one, I counted those. I didn't count the people who said "all of them" - and there were a couple!) Here's how the Facebook fans break it down as of right now - there are still comments coming in:

As one of my favourite music videos - 'Ricky Martin's 'Livin' la Vida Loca' is 'disabled' from nicking from YouTube. I wondered what people here thought of the song? The music here, NOT the Pirate film!

I love the Ricky Martin video, perhaps someone has it somewhere?

This is the fab video i'm talking about on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmwzEhwScug

BTW - This is the best song ever to dance to....

The sophistication and expertise on display in the writing, arranging and performance of "Songs From Lonely Avenue" makes it arguably the most orchestral and highest quality release of Brian Setzer's career, perhaps only in competition with "Wolfgang's Big Night Out." Lonely Avenue takes the lead, however, in that every song is original. Given its uniqueness - lacking the chopped tops and peroxide blondes that Setzer is known for - like WBNO, "Lonely Avenue" may ...

Pistol Pete being the great mate he is was going to post a topic of me going to see This Is It which I’m sure was not going to be very complimentary. Since he hasn’t got around to it yet, I get to post my side of the story, so here we go.

My Wife Anura is a huge, huge Michael Jackson fan. Although I’m not a fan of his music, I can appreciate the fact that he is an amazing entertainer and a truly gifted artist. Anura was happy to wait for the dvd to come out. I told ...

Greetings all,

I realise this message will meet with no approval whatsoever from the Setzer fanbase, but it's something I've got to get off my chest. So here goes: why I'm not buying the new album.

I've been a huge BSO fan for nearly ten years now. Since discovering that incredible big-band sound, I've become more and more hooked every year, spending all I can afford on their music, DVDs, guitar tab books, rarities and other merchandise. But now I'm forced to come to only one conclusion.... ...

Sometimes I do the artworks for my own recordings, live shows... but they are all done in Microsoft Word, which is OK, but I would like to design them in JPG, that's why I am asking you about the pogram(s) that could help me a little bit in doing this.

He teases me with great guitar gear which I'm not allowed to play.

He has a great car that he won't take me out cruising in.

He doesn't understand why it's ok to drink beer on an empty stomach at 7 30 am on a plane when you're on holidays, but I'm trying to teach him.

Seriously though, he is a great guy ...

And the bag ended up in the bin. And yes my cd was still in it!!

After a sleepless night I figured out what might have happened to it. (I thought it got lost on the way back home) So at 6.30 I got out ...

Just got the new GP mag... short but very cool interview about the process & gear that went into creating Lonely Ave. I've scanned all 3 pages... I had to leave them large files (hi quality) tho- some of the interview is white words on black background, hard to read. The files are 1.5M each. I hope they came out OK.

Just wanted to share something cool with my fellow Setz peeps.

GP online will no doubt have the digital version up at some point, but it could be awhile (like a month ...

That's the name of my new Rockabilly Band!

I play lead guitar.

We have a great singer who also plays rhythm guitar and a double bass player who started playing just a year or so ago but is very talented! No drummers at all!

Today we recorded nearly the whole rehersal session and this is the best recording so far.

Everything was recorded in one take, with just one (ONE) microphone, in our rehersal room.

We used the freeware program "Audacity" to record it.

I hope you like ...

musicians on the internet

There are a couple musicians, John Mayer and Jamie Cullum, who have managed to hold my interest for a long time simply because of their regular and personal presence online - I even blogged about it today. The fact of the matter is I'll be buying their new albums because I think they're cool guys, AND because I like their music. If they weren't so interesting online I might not be a "definite" buyer.

(If you haven't heard of him yet, check out Jamie Cullum:)

Warning - 7" Gettin' in the mood - don't buy with picture sleeve

Just got a 7" "Gettin' in the mood" with a picture sleeve, but it looks to me it's just a homemade cover with the original Interscope 7" in it.

So if you collectors see it, don't buy it, you can make a much more pro cover yourself.

This seller is NOT having a positiv feedback from me

Anyway, was lucky to get the last two 13 albums last night in white and red vinyl, so now I got them all 3. And for only 12£ a piece
