I've just discovered this Swedish band called "John Lindberg Trio" thanks to Sidelake Bob, who emailed me the link of their brand new tune, Bran New Philosophy. I've managed to listen to the full discography (Self Tittled LP, Xmas Special, Win Or Lose, Brand New Philosophy) and those who really like old school RnR, a bit of Rockabilly, great guitar riffs, wonderful voice... folks, you're going to like it.

There are a few clips on youtube available, very interesting. I'm really hooked on this guy's music!

(Taka Sidelake!)

Great band, I've seen them live twice. More rock & roll than rockabilly but very good & effective band.

after having listened the whole discography by JLT, this is my compilatin:

brand new philosophy
break up
tigerfeet
last station
for that something
living too fast
give it up baby
slow down
torturing me
fame and fortune
cheerio
rockin' shoes
ball and chain ( * folks, this is not a BSO cover!!)
drunksters
just can't get enough ( * wonderful Depeche Mode cover!)
shadows
i'm leaving
makes me remember
trouble bound
where the lonesome river flows
win or lose
you never talked about me
stop and say hello
worried man
thinking things over
seventh heaven
what would you give
twang bang

i know i'm leaving some nice tunes out, but these ones turned out to be my favourites for an 80 min CDR... not bad!
