Brian and Julie should record this one quick in honor of the loss of our friend Les.

That's my favorite Les Paul Song, and I guess Brian would do great on it!

Fantastic suggestion. And the mood of this magic song seems good with the next album's one.

R.I.P Les Paul the inventor of the electric guitar. did ya know he made his first one out of a 4x4 chunk of fence post, yip he did and he took it to gibson and they told him to F... off ha ha ha the rest is history.
anyway I also would like to hear the BSO do a version of this song I think that would be really cool and fit well with the 17/18 piece orchestra
surrprised to hear the Pollcats have recorded a version of this song do ya by chanse have an mp3 Patrick. ?

being silly about the bootyliscious thing..
its her voice I love.. she's got this song out now called "Halo" and I hear Billie Holiday in her timbre as she glides from low to high notes.. there is black soul and operatic lilt coming forth from that woman.. I see her as an instrument of high caliber. I hate rap and all ghetto style crap.. but I appreciate Black music and besides her and Alicia Keyes, there isnt much these days that resembles the amazing R&B black female singers our rich american past. Plus I love old gospel music and I have some of her stuff in that vein.. moves me.

It's a puzzlement why Stray Cats never recorded 'How High the moon'....Then the Polecats did it. So i was thinking it's too late....then Brian Setzer Orchestra had a great chance to record it - it would have fitted on their first album 'the BSO' in 1994. In 2001 it would have made a nice bonus track on 'Ignition' (Imagine that!)....but still no. Considering all the popular and raw tracks Setzer's recording in his career....'How high the moon' was (you would think) bound to feature somewhere! Maybe it will appear on 'Ignition 2'!!!
