Just got my Meet 'n Greet tix for the Warfield show!!!

I think I might pass out. Thinking about actually MEETING Brian after dreaming of that day for the last 11 years has me freaking out.

Does anyone know if there will be people there escorting me and making sure that they catch me when I faint? Or kicking me in the shin when I can't put together a coherent sentence? Or to hold the camera while I try and restrain from man-handling Brian for a pic?

I have a worry, though. My best friend says that she wants to go with me, but won't be hashing out the money for the Meet and Greet tix because tho she likes the BSO, she's not a die hard fan like I am at any stretch of the mind. Would my tix allow me to sit (or preferably stand) with her in the standing room (I assume this is General Admission)? On the confirmation, it looks to me like I've got an actual SEAT. I don't wanna sit. I wanna be stage-side, dancing my a$$ off. I also don't want her to have to pay for a ticket if she won't be able to enjoy it right next to me, cuz I think she'd feel like it's a waste of money.

If anyone has been to the Warfield, or knows if that'd fly (I don't see why I couldn't basically stand wherever the hell I want with paying that much for a ticket, honestly), please lemme know!

Usually, when you have a "seat", it is ok to go to the "General Admission" area.

The general admission area is directly in front of the stage. You will have had to pass at least two ushers (security) to get there. Two strategies: When you are escorted to a VIP area for the meet and greet, ask the escort to take you back to the main floor. Alternately, hope for a an opening act and try to get to the main floor during intermission (the easiest time is right after the opening act finishes its set, and you have to "swim upstream". If you have two friends with tickets to the main floor, you may also be able to participate in a ticket passing scheme, assuming that they don't also use some sort of handstamp or wristband strategy. It may also be possible for you to buy a second ticket for the main floor. It is quite possible that your ticket for the seat and whatever credential they provide for the meet and greet will be two separate documents. If this is the case, having bought a separate ticket for the main floor, you can now sell your reserved seat.
