Personally I don't think this is very funny so I'm surprised someone would make a joke out of this Suspect

Why some fool would do something like this to an artist on stage is beyond me - especially to someone like Setzer. Sad

Morrissey played in Liverpool last weekend (I wasn't at the gig) and some idiot threw a plastic pint glass at him and it hit him in the eye - to which he said 'goodnight' and left the stage after only performing one and a half songs. Can't say I blame him. That one fool spoilt the night for so many people Mad

I found the pic in another forum.

I understand your opinion, but still feel like the picture is good.
I think it's a good parody...

have some humor.. that was a funny bit Guitarmaniac. Obviously the real incident was not but that little comic strip was ..well comical.
It'd be even funnier to see the picts of the jerk who threw it
being beat like a pinata outside the show! Smile

ps. I personally know it aint funny when it really happens, when
I was younger I was fronting a hard rock band for a short time
and there was always some ass in the mosh pit that would run past n hit the end of the boom stand and send the mic into my teeth.

I'll bet if they were contest winners, they'd be superfans who'd know how to behave themselves. Anybody who'd throw something at an artist in concert is just too stupid to know when to stop drinking!

Guitarmaniac, I thought the pics were kind of funny, too.

I remember that someone throw a couple of pints at Brian at London Shepherd's Bush back in 2004 during Rumble and Double Talkin' Baby. When the first one came onto the stage, Brian said: You've wasted your beer / and on the second, Brian was looking for the thrower, until Slim Jim pointed at him; Brian called Bobby Gilken and they chucked away this twat.
Quite curious....

Anyway, have some humour and the parody is great!! We have to laugh at it and think that Paris was a great gig despite that unfortunate incident. Think positively!

That is the Morrisey video. It didnīt hit his eye, but his head. I agree is not nice, and it is ok for him to leave the stage... but after 5 or 10 minutes, he should have gone back to the stage. He wasnīt bleeding or anything.

You canīt blame thousands just for one. Specially if they are your fans, and you have only been 5 minutes on the stage.

I completely agree with David, but I also understand that the artist is in no mood to perform or play anymore; that ruined the show for loads of fans just for a prick, because he or she has that name... PRICK!

Morrisey's such a little girl. Now seeing that, I want a video game with wussy morrisey running around sobbing with the front row shooting water cannons at him.

PS..Smith's Rule.
love this one two;

Look, the guy who threw the water bottle is an asshole, but Morrisey should know better.

I am sure that he doesnīt play for less than 2 or 300,000 Euros a night, and for that kind of money, Iīm sorry, but you need to get out and sing.

If he had seriously been injured, I would understand; but even though that bottle hit him, it was a plastic bottle, which hit him sideways and Iīm sure it hurt in the beginning, but nothing that had to send him to the hospital Iīm sure. Cīmon man; donīt blame on thousands of fans... those fans who have been paying your bills for years.

No offense, thatīs what I think.
