Now I got the LP box set

After a long hunt (all about now paying to much) I got the Japan box set "Stray Cats LP BOX Japan ONLY 3LP SET OBI 7" COMPLETE NM"
And for a 99,99 US$ only.
Now I wanna get hold of the "Vavoom" vinyl, so if any of you have it or know how to get it, and wanna sell, please let me know, thanks

I paid a bit more for mine a about five years back but in the last time it seemed as if there has been thrown more and more on the market. This of course reduces the price.

Unfortunately the label of the "Runaway Boys" single isn't original...do you agree?

Best thing to do is to look a Ebay every week. And right now it seams like everything is a bit cheaper, maybe because of the world financel crises.
I never seen the Vavoom album on Ebay, must be very limited. The Japan box set shows up every second month, always starting with a 100$.
But it's always nice to have something to look for, remembering having my Jets collection complet (no I don't have the first testpressing). It was kind of strange, and not really a good feeling. Having everything, is like end of story. That will never happen with my Elvis collection

I paid 150 Euro for the LP Box, which I must say is like new... but you got a better deal.

As for the Pictured LP Vavoom... it's going to cost you quite a lot if you find it... no less thatn 80 Euro I reckon.
Fortunatelly, I got this in a trade and it's quite frequent in Yahoo Auctions Japan (www.auctions.yahoo.co.jp)... If you know a Japanese guy who could help you out you'll be pretty luck!

Was it a Japan release on vinyl only?

that LP is actually an US release, but quite limited and official.... I tell you to have a look on Yahoo Auctions as that could be the only place where you can actually find it... Havent seen it anywhere else, and a japanse friend bought it for me...

LP box for about 55 € appx. 13 years ago. And it was brand new ( I still haven´t played it ) , so I guess I was quite lucky.

It is interesting to speculate whether its the economy or waning interest that has caused fans to depart with their collectibles. One man's (woman's) loss is another man's (woman's) find, I guess.

Now I want to get Vavoom and the rest on Vinyl, thanks folks. I picked up Guitar Slinger and Dirty Boogie on vinyl when they came out because i wasn't interested in replacing a broken CD player at the time....the production on Vavoom! is so well done, i'm thinking that the vinyl will sound phenomenal.

I hope its good too.
As i got the vinyl LP, for "lonely avenue". I is the worst sound i have heard from Lp!
The cd sounds awesome, so dont know what happened.
I e-mailed surfdog, but got no reply.
And i have only played the first two tracks of each side.
Put away, never to be played on the Sondek again. expensive too!

Man, is that picture disc the only LP version out there? I'm definitely NOT paying 236 USD for it. I paid 12.99 for Guitar slinger, and 15.99 for Dirty Boogie, dammit!

Vavoom was only 300 ex or so Mark.

Vavoom is only available as pictured LP and it was basically released to boost the poor sales of the album in general... I don't know the exact amount of copies but sure it was very very very limited. The "13" coloured 3LP set is also about 300 copies and with the passing of time, the price will go up. Same with the pictured Lonely Ave LP... just 300 copies

Picture discs tend to be a bit noisya allthough o have heard some good one's , It's gotta sound better than Lonely ave. , that we all know ...

Man I was glad when I had it for something like $120....... The last Stray Cats 3 LP box set from Japan went for only a $100
I guess the crises are all over the place, even for secondhand records.
