My uncle brought my mom this Hofner Violin Bass. He purchased it brand new and gave it to my mom after it being in his collection for many years now. It is still in near mint condition, it is really neat to hold.

He is going to try to get it signed by Paul McCartney for her, as, well, she would probably blow a gasket if that happened. He works as a musician and could actually make the connection with some of his former employers, which would be amazing.

Anyone ever framed a guitar before? She wants to get some sort of shadowbox or special case to put it on display.
