Hi everyone,
yesterday, I received an email to my Stray Cats Collector's account and what a nice surprise.

The guy who wrote me said:

"I've got a record by Jimmy Nellis called "Sort of... Normal" of 1990, and Brian Setzer is credited to be lead guitar in a song called "Look For Tomorrow"

LOL, I remember giving Brian Setzer a double CD compilation with "all" his guest appearances in Amsterdam last year... I guess I should get him an update ;-)

Nice founding!!!

Just a brief note to let you know that I have updated my website
and there are a few new Brian Setzer guest appearances available to listen to,
including this "new" one with Jimmy Nellis!

Enjoy!

Slim Jon,

A small correction to your collaberations page for Brian Setzer. Brian or course did play on the Mystery Train cd 706 Union Avenue on the song Don't Say Goodbye. By the way, Brian only played the second solo on Don't Say Goodbye.

The song "Rockabilly Smash" does not feature Brian playing guitar, but, Brian did let Michael Ubaldini play his "Steve Miller" given 6120 on that entire song.

I had a chance to talk with Michael Ubaldini just after his CD 706 Union Avenue was relased and he told all about it.

So Brian does only play the second solo on Don't Say Goodbye, but his 6120 was used by Michael on Rockabilly Smash.

Have a Gretsch Day !

Ross

Hey Ross,
I've never mentioned "Rockabilly Smash" and though Brian plays the second solo, he's also the second rhythm guitar ;-)
