I think what Brett means is that it's a shame lots of people don't like any songs from the choochoo era.

Thanks for the post, it's absolutely fantastic to see, on TV show, the Cats playing (live !) a track from Choo Choo Hot Fish, their probably most under-estimated record !!

I agree with the thoughts about this period for the Cats, I just wish I had more videos from it......or at the risk of giving myself a heart attack, a 10 dvd boxset would be nice

Hey Brett, you express fine man, I'm from the UK but have been living in Spain for the last couple of years and learning a new language, not for an exam but for real life is bloody difficult, for me at least.
I've nearly got myself into trouble a few times, instead of asking for a chicken sandwich,

Playing live a great song from what I consider the best album they ever recorded; the Cats were musically at their best. Shame it's the last original one too!

Yeah, they were certainly at a great place musically during that time.
I used to have a video clip of them playing Cross of Love (not live though).
I think it was from an Australian show called something like Hey, Hey it's Saturday, I think???
Perhaps a few members here remember the show?
I'm always very grateful for any dvd release we get but I think the lack of legit Stray Cats material available is a shame, perhaps there are just alot of legal reasons, etc.
Let's hope one day!

You never know Choochoo, well that's what I keep telling myself...

I just really think it's important that some of the vintage Cats material gets legit releases on dvd someday,
I do find it a little odd that there is nothing really out there and the fans would love it.
Like I said before though, it could be legal reasons, etc, that none of us have any real idea about, who knows??
