| Was a great show, in a very comfortable Hall. I was at the first row in balcony, the sound was not excellent, lot of bass rumble during the first 30 minutes, then, it was better. Brian was wearing a very classy grey costume, the rest of the band in red, and the 2 ladies in black. 4 guitars were used : the gold Hot Rod, 6120 Orange, the "brilliant red" hot rod and a Baritone. At the start of the show, the Fender amp was dead : so Brian retired from stage just a few seconds after coming in, during the time technicians changed the amp. So we heard Batman's theme without and with guitar (as Brian asked the crowd if we want to hear it again!). the set list is closely the same than in Canada, I will post it later. Franck | |

| the support band where the misschiefs or something like that. The gig was fenomenal. Brian was great, the band was funny and good. Seeing the vixens on stage for the first time was terrific.
But I believe I stated my worries on this board before... And I was right. The sound was dramatic.. It was just crap. It became a little bit better after 45 minutes or so but it still was very bad. Why a band would wanna play in this shite hole I don't know..
Sorry for the rant.. I had a hell of an evening. The Orchestra Rocks!! I made some pics with my phone. If you guys are interested I could post them..

| Could that backdrop from the trio set be inspired by the new album cover?
Thanks for the perspective of the entire stage, Franck. So often we only get close-up shots, so it's really nice to see what the stage setup looks like.
How was the crowd response? Was the show sold out? I'd love to see an enthusiastic reception for the BSO in Europe.

| It was very crowdy, I don't know if it was sold out but the hall was full, for sure... The audience was very enthousiast, here is a 10 min video of the encore "Rock This town"... at the end, Brian dances with Julie, very charming... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miwJb16bf3g | |

| @scampero : it's a 320/240 .avi made on my digital camra Canon G10. Not a real video camera but a photo one! the sound problem was mainly a bass rumble (where i seated, 1st row balcony) and this type of machne does not record low bass frequencies > you don't hear them... No close shot because the lesn was at his maximum zoom and I don't uses digital zoom as it's very bad quality... | |

He plays a very, very good drum. Like a mashine. Bernie is still awesome, but this guy as well. note his little breaks and swing beats...

| 12 was 16 chicks. 16 was mountain rag. @ lonesomecat: where from Germany dd you come that you had to drive 1200 km?? Why would you be further back in HMH? Because when it is for the sound you shouldn't bother it was just as bad.. The amp thing was realy funny.. I would love to know what happened. The guitar roadie must surely have checked the thing at the soundcheck?? Man what a great gig it was! I liked the trio stuff but was thinking all the time bring back the band, bring back the band!! | |
