is THE Davy Jones on Board?

Hi Captain,

if you´re the same person like the Davy from the BS Board, my friend 1954Memphis would be happy.
He was the one who asked for the chords of "You`re the boss".
But he couldn`t read your answers and i didn`t copy it out before.

So if you could do it again it would be great and we both will be thankful for years!

Yes the Captain has put into port here now as well. Sure, I'll do it again, but the sad thing is, I didn't copy it down either! So it may take a little time to post it up here. I'm still getting the hang of this board (slightly diff. computer functions than the other) and the Flying Dutchman's internet connection has been a little shaky today.

Ok, here's sort of what I had put up yesterday. It's not 100% right, as #1 I don't remember exactly how the chords for this tune went, and #2 I don't have exactly what I wrote yesterday saved, so I'm starting over from scratch. So, I may have some of the chords wrong, especially the Chorus and Bridge sections. However, I think the general roadmap of the song is right, and it should be enough to get started with. Also note that the only place I've ever seen this transcribed was as part of a Dirty Boogie BSO Japanese Band Score on Ebay. The changes from F#13 through the B7 and the Trans. Verse came from the picture view of that book. I mention this for reference or for information if anyone is interested, because if you can find the book, it has the whole tune, melody and other instruments included. Ok here's You're the Boss.

Play Dm-A-C from Verse Progression #1

Bridge (Key change to Fm)

Am7-Ab7-Gm7-C7-Fm7-D7-Db7-C7-Fm-F#13-Gm7#11-Db7#9-C7#9-(B7)

For the transition half-verse out of the bridge play Verse Progression #2 in the key of Fm (minor third higher Bbm-Bdim7-Fm), and then the 1st Verse Ending altough in the key of Fm instead of Dm.

4th Verse, play Verse Progression #1 and #2 but in the key of Fm.

Vamp Out on Fm type extended chords (i.e. 9ths, 13ths, etc.)

Last Chord (Fm(maj9) or Fm(maj13))?

Fills are in Dm pentatonic and Fm pentatonic respectively.

Good job! Not to be a jerk, but I think you've got the chords of the chorus ("you're the best of everything...etc") wrong. This is how I believe they actually go:

Hey, no problem. I really didn't remember that part anyway, so I was hoping someone would add their interpretation. It helps to figure these tunes out when you have more than one listener. Thanks to ye.
