| Oh wow, was that already a year ago? It was so cool how excited we all were, and almost everyday there were new reviews of the last show. I hope so much that they'll come back to europe again! Here on Slim Jim's page are some of the Pictures I took in Cologne http://www.slimjimphantom.com/PhotosStrayCats2Sep08.html | |

| It wasn't just Manchester that was missed on that tour but Glasgow too.
Not long after I saw Brian's '68 Comeback tour I read an interview saying that Madrid, Spain and Glasgow, Scotland were his favorite dates of that tour.

| Damn, I missed celebrating the one year anniversary of seeing and photographing Stray Cats in Italy, a year ago Saturday, August 22. I can't believe it's been that long already. It's been a wild, WILD ride for me since then. Actually... I'm still on it. Aug 22, 2008 - Stray Cats, Senigallia, Italy Sept 4, 2008 - Stray Cats, Paris, France Feb 26, 2009 - Stray Cats, Brisbane, Australia Feb 27, 2009 - Stray Cats, Brisbane, Australia Mar 1, 2009 - Stray Cats, Melbourne, Australia May 16, 2009 - Brian Setzer & The Nashvillains, Doheny, California, USA Sep 6, 2009 - Brian Setzer & The Nashvillains, Murphys, California, USA Dec 23, 2009 - Brian Setzer Orchestra, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA (good thing I finally got a job, it would appear I have quite the habit to support!! ) | |

| After reading here that Brian said that Spain is one of his favourite places in what concerns the audience.... I don't want to sound very patriotic (when tbh, I've never been) but truth is that in Spain the audience is different and probably, together with the UK one, is the best by far (with no intention of offending the rest of the fans) - The way in which we scream for the encores or even the clapping is different; Slim Jim loves that "Oe Oe Oe Oeeeee" galore!!! - The best shows depend very much not on the country but on the phase the band is going through or on the part of the tour they are, but the audience is different and the band feels that! |

| We all know of Brian's love of Scotland.
Just awaiting the family holiday. The Ullapool guitar festival is next month 9th-11th october. Brian, live in a small venue, in the Scottish highlands, how cool would that be?
