| Just watched the 1983 US Festival on Showtime! My God the boys were young at that one, I had forgotten how cool that concert was. I watched every minute of it on MTV back then (when the "M" stood for "Music"). I have always maintained that the US Festival was heads and tails above Woodstock - a much better music festival. Better music, better atmosphere, better organized, no political message, just music and fun - and bikinis !!!!!! If you are hungry for some Stray Cats, Oingo Boingp, Missing Persons, The Clash, etc. vintage 80's stuff, you have to see this. Get your TiVo ready: For those with Showtime, but missed it it will be on again 1:45 AM Tues, Sept. 15 (Next Mon. late / early Tues.)  | |
