| Here are a few random thoughts on the Keswick Show- -The show had a weary "Sunday" vibe but still rocked! I know every show can't be an out of the park home run. -Loved the spinning floor-tom -Lonely Avenue was PHENOMENAL! -to the guy who sat to my immediate left--it's a concert dude, you are allowed to get excited, maybe even tap your foot from time to time, instead of sitting there like you're watching "Schindler's list" LOL!!! -No Jump Jive... in the encore--WTH?? -Dibbs rocked! | |

| Is that you in your avatar, Steve? If so, I saw you and your friend in the lobby before the show. =) And I agree with all your comments except for the first one. LOL! I am sure the guy next to me thought *I* was full of jumping beans, I could not keep still. Should've come to the Keswick Tavern with Dibbs and us afterwards. | |

| This will be my 4th year seeing the Xmas Xtrav, and I have yet to see the crowd get anywhere near "properly excited" before the trio portion of the show happens. Most just sit in their chairs & clap politely, until Brian & the trio drag them kicking & screaming into rockabilly-ville, then from that point on the audience is fine.
I don't get it... is it because it's "swing" or "big band" music? Does that mean you can't have FUN like at a rock show? I don't get it...
(these comments are all from the State Theatre in Easton PA.)

| i can only speak of Detroit...mostly over 50...mostly gray and definitely not a packed house and same as this show didnt come to life until the trio appeared also some guy in a chef hat tried to share the spotlight with Brian during Lonely Avenue and another tune. I have no idea why except he may have had more drinks than the one he was hoisting during his breif appearences. The BSO passed their Showmanship test with flying colors that night. | |

| I also was astounded at how people could still still during the entire show. My foot started tapping from the first notes! | |

| After being at the State Theater in Easton and the Keswick I have noticed that some of these people are there because they are annual members and figure they are there for a Xmas show not because they are Brian Setzer fans. The were two ladies in front of me, one had her fingers in her ears and the other was flossing her teeth and taking really bad pictures that were either blurry or Brian's head was cut off.
Luckily my husband was on one side of me and the other seat was empty. Yeah I was moving.
Some day I will get to a venue where they actually let you dance. Wonder if Reading allowed it?
Regardless, I thought the show rocked. Had a great time!

| So cal is a lively crowd but only the young'ns hoof it up much.. When the Hillbilly Casino opened for em a few yrs back, all those gay xmas sweater wearin geezers just sat there with gaunt stares. My son and I were just amazed at the Frozen chosen who didnt thaw out until the last few numbers of the BSO show when the alcohol finally takes effect. BUT... the show is always a sold out crowd two nights in a row. Hope it kicks ass this year, we plan to. Mery Setz'mas | |

| I gotta' say, while I would LOVE to meet Le Setz, I think the whole "pay to meet" thing that has been going on for several years now (with alot of artists, not just Setz) is complete & utter BULLSHIT.
No offense, but I buy your album, I buy your concert tickets, I buy your swag, I buy gear from your endorser, ENOUGH! Meet & greets are great things, and I totally understand them being a fan-club-only and/or lottery system, but charging money for the "privledge" of meeting you, for a handshake & picture opportunity, is slimy. And I've lost a little bit of respect for every favorite artist of mine who's done it, BS included.

| I like to anticipate the "magic" meeting.. like the time I was at the comedy club in hollywood walking down the street and Stevie Wonder smashed right into me coming around the corner being led by his driver over to the curb so he could get into his Rolls Royce. I just stood there with my mouth open, stunned but totally thrilled to have been the "unsightly" obstacle in his path. oops sorry.. dont mean to derail. back on track. | |

| Hmm, I think that the audiences are not moving and getting excited at all because most of the venues are theatres, where people have to remain seated. It's just my opinion... on the other hand, when people are standing, things are different. Am I right or is this just an impression?? |

Pit space lets people sweat on eachother and space in the back to dance.... BUT theatres give us personal space, americans need their personal space! I'll rock out as long as there are chairs between us and you dont violate my space

| Hah! Europeans need personal space too, but there is no RnR without a packed venue - except in UK, where a packed venue means that if you are at the front row you can die asphixiated. I tell this first hand...
Anyway, hope that the people attending the BSO shows this winter are having a good time and enjoying them as much as possible. Wish the BSO tour Europe someday... (soon) |

(soon) I think you hit the nail on the head, as I use to always fight to be up front and center but one concert was almost my last when the place got packed so tight I could literally lift my feet off the floor and shortly after was fighting to breath when the cops suddenly broke the place up and pretty much saved us from being crushed. btw.. I think the Stray Cats fare well in europe but how well would BSO still do? Here the BSO is "mr christmas", Japan its the "elvis" show, europe seems to welcome the throwback acts more than most... maybe this needs to be a new thread

I have to agree with this all the way , Paying is total crap , they should do a fanclub thing , or randon enter your email , or even a raffle , a few bucks that goes to charity for a chance ..... I know i too can't afford it with the Tickets , merch & travel , that's enough ..... Problem with Casino shows is high rollers get tix & just go & leave halfway through the show , this happened a bit at the John fogerty show last weekend & the guy was killin for 2 hours 15 minutes non stop hits! ~~~~ I see a lot of these Tix for sale online "meet me at the casino" ....... they should put a stop to this stuff .
