Get well soon Setzer!!!

I was at the BSO show tonight in ABQ, New Mexico and three songs in Brian stumbled around on stage and finally made his way off stage. About 50 minutes later they announced that the show had been cancled due to Brian being rushed to the hospital because of a medical condition(s). Hope all is well with the guitar slinger!!

I just today got the doc's okay to go to the shows.

If you can be there, Brian, I will be too.

I'm gonna be hitting "refresh" on about ten different websites for the rest of the night waiting for news. So far the ABQjournal.com isn't much help:

Ten-time Grammy award nominee Brian Setzer left the stage during a sold-out 8 p.m. concert Monday at Isleta Resort and Casino.
After performing three Christmas-themed songs with his Brian Setzer Orchestra, Setzer walked off the stage, according to concert-goers. His band played a few more songs and then left the stage. An announcer came on stage about 9 p.m. and announced that Setzer had been taken to a local hospital, and that concert goers would receive refunds in the coming days at the casino box office.
Setzer, the longtime frontman of the Stray Cats, has been a staple of the big-band swing revival for more than a decade. He has toured annually during the holiday season to support his Christmas albums and put on a jazzy, swing-inspired big-band Christmas show.
Attempts to reach tour manager Brian Hardick on Monday night were unsuccessful, and calls to casino officials were not immediately returned.

Hadn't really been following things this year, cause there were no shows near me this tour... I'm thinking good thoughts and hope Brian is ok... what a scary thing, from what little i'm seeing online...

no gossip, TMZ style media junk please. Mandi (forum owner) doesnt want any form of setzer's personal life posted on this fan Forum so please use discretion.

We're sending good thoughts and prayers for Brian's quick recovery. May the big man upstairs guide the Dr.'s to quickly diagnose and treat whatever may be going on at this time. May He also be with his family to provide comfort and support during these stressful times. And, lets not forget the awesome guys in the BSO...He's there for them too! ;o)

This sucks....Why does this always happen to good people? Brian please get better, you will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers and keeping me very close to my computer as I anxiously await to hear some good news.

While Jon's sentiments about the remaining shows might seem a little insensitive, they actually represent a hope for the most positive outcome. That would be incredibly good news if he were well enough to continue the tour. Obviously, his return to good health is the foremost concern here.

Personally, I hope his recovery is swift and strong, but that he takes the recommended rest and spends the time with family and friends. This is the second tour in 4 years (2 of the last 3 Xmas tours) where Brian ended up in the hospital. The man has quite literally given everything he had on stage, placing the show and his fans before his own health at least twice now. When he returns to the stage or studio after his recovery, whether it's tomorrow night or next year, I hope the fans cherish every note.

I don't think I can overstate the impact Brian Setzer's music has had on my life, (though I've certainly tried over the years) and I'm certain many others here feel the same way. Here's hoping it is just a scare, with no long term health concerns attached. All the best to you and your family, Brian.
