Looks like my wife and me will be in Las Vegas in September 2010 for her brother's wedding. Would love to catch up for a beer or many with anyone from the board. Havent had a chance to Google maps of USA yet to see where Vegas is in relation to rest of country, can anyone help with things to do/see/etc? Cheers Pete

Will this take place in the general time frame of your birthday, Pete? Or mine, for that matter? In any case, sounds like a great excuse to get together in Sin City!! How long will you be there?
It's only a 4-5 hour drive from LA (lots of people), Riverside (Tavo), San Diego (me)... it could be quite the party. And, it's Vegas. You won't need aaaany help finding things to see and do!!

hey I just found out that I *may* be going to Vegas...in Oct, just before my wedding, with my fiance and her sister. If it's a go, We'll be staying at the Flamingo.
I haven't been out to the American southwest in a few years...usually I end up in the Phoenix area, so this will be a fun change.
