Hot Tub Time Machine

I haven't seen this movie yet, but a friend over on Facebook asked a question that got me thinking:

If you had a hot tub that could go back in time, what year would you go to?

I'll give everybody two shots at this. The way I figure it, I'd like to visit some things from outside of my own lifespan, but there are also some events from my own lifetime I'd like to revisit.

So, for one of my trips, I'd do a Marty McFly and go back to see my own parents when they were in high school - I just think that'd be a real hoot. Although it would require two trips, since they went to separate schools a few years apart.

As for my own lifetime... I'd have to go back to the day I met my wife. That was a goodie!

Now, how about you all?

1) take all the cool rockabilly songs from now, go back to say 1950, kill scotty moore (or maybe just out-rock him in the audition or something), become elvis' guitar player then branch off into solo and become a rockabilly God, attain mass quantities of Gretschs and then live till 1969, attain mass quantities of '64 bassmans then get back in the tub and come back cause theres no way Im living in the freakin' '70s!

2)go back in time and convert Hitler to Judaism? Probly actually go learn form our Savior during his ministry. Yeah, definitely that

Yeah I'd say #2 is a good idea if #1 is the first thing that comes to mind!!!! I'm not a religious woman but I'm pretty sure that's at the top of God's "do not do" list!

(Please note: This is all said in jest, just a little teasing with my friend MJ. I know he doesn't mean it, I just think his post was hilarious.)




There are so many places that would be worth going, but in the spirit of this being a Setzer forum and all, I'd go back to 1995 and grab the body I had then and take it to 1981....
