Setzer at the Hammerstein, December 2, 2009.

I had a couple of pictures from a show with the BSO in NYC that i wanted to post, hopefully they're okay with Tavo, but we had good seats and then good floor which made for some cool photos...


The first one is Brian and the Vixen with the real star of the show, the white Hot Rod. I wish that I had been able to take a better picture of this one, or been on the floor. Saw it up close and personal after, and it's pretty awesome.




This was when they brought out the trombone section and had them play the bassline to Pipeline. It sounded awesome, almost like a polka band when it started up.




Ha...this was GOING to be a shot of the amp and 301 when it started out, but a blinding glare from that 6120 threw me off, and I got obsessed with the guitar instead.







Then sidetracked by the sax....





....and back to the guitar. But it's soooo byooteeful!



This picture is from the side of the stage (obviously) at the end of the show, and it's about as blurry as I was by that point. But, do you know what's right below the field of vision in this picture? Setzer's entire guitar arsenal from the show. I kept waiting for Ty, the guitar tech, to walk away so i could take pictures of that white Hot Rod....I suppose that I could've asked, but where's the fun in that?

No, I was at the Greenville, SC show, but the staging, costumes, and of course Mr Setzer were all the same, in a good way! Kinda cool to have a holiday flasback in the spring!

Here is one I took : Vixens were in red.

On Dec, 2, it was in Newark, NJ. I was there, too.
Vixens were in black this day, for the 1st time as told me Julie.

Hahaha....I really shouldn't, don't tell anyone I posted this, but the Vixens were first in black in Ottawa last year (okay, not their christmas costumes.) Thanks again for posting photos.

you're right... they were also in black in Amsterdam and Pori just some days later...

Ha, if you want to have a great conversation, try and argue with an inebriated big band telling you, "No...really, ya GOTTA come to Amsterdam with us! We are gonna have the BEST time!" Can't imagine what it would be like seeing the BSO during the day, though!
