Any of you have any experience with the Billm Blues Jr mods? Josh's project was pretty nifty no doubt, but why not just buy Tavo's or the real Mugilla if your after blonde bassman sound? Josh admits that you'll never get that sound out of an open backed combo anyway, and uses a closed back cab.
I'm tempted to try one of his mod kits, he seems to preach that those changes will make a much better sounding amp at a fraction of the cost ($25 vs $200) of new speaker and tubes. Just thinking
