| OK, it´s time ROCK!! One on the best bands in world, Volbeat from Denmark, will release new album on September 10th. If You don`t know them yet, music is mix (roughly) of Cash and Metallica. And everything in between. By signing to Rebels & Angels, you`ll see great video (about new CD etc.) and more to come in the future. I know it`s not "rockabilly". It`s little of that and lot more, example great songs. Thanks, Nasse www.volbeat.dk | |

| Dislike. The singer sounds like foghorn and the music is too metal. | |

| yeah, when I first heard what they were trying to do I thought it would be cool. But all they really do is play some metal versions of old tunes.

| Rock The Rebel / Metal The Devil Is this what they call negative feedback? Well, I know I was pushing the envelope too far from the real thing. Luckily I was`t talking about Airbourne and call ´em a rock band.... I guess we should talk another band, whom can sell more than 2 records in these hard times. The Baseballs from Germany leads (dunno where) the rockabilly revival here in Europe. Next they gonna take England by storm and also support Jeff Beck. www.thebaseballs.comSorry, Nasse | |

| The Baseballs suck so hard I can't even imagine a comparison for that. They're a bunch of (pretty good, i have to admit) singers that where casted because somebody in some record company found out that people like Rock 'n' Roll and that you could make money with that. They have nothing to do with real Rock 'n' Roll. They claim that their style is called Voc'n'Roll and that it's sth completely new and has never been done before. WRONG! Their songs are just Doo-Wop style covers of bad pop music. It wouldn't be so bad if they were in it for the music, and not just big money. And I have friends who went to see them live and say that it was the worst concert ever. It's all made for 14 year old girls... My only hope is that at least some younger people may discover what real Rock 'n' Roll is through them. Airbourne is way better than The Baseballs will ever be BTW... | |

| I may have mentioned this before...... I was once in a really Uber Sucessful band but due to our staunch maintainance of strict credibility criteria, we eventually imploded. We refused to have a band name as we believed this was a form of commercial promotion We never played live as we refused to take money from the kids Led Zepplin never released singles...well we took that a step further and never released a record as this would have been sheer Capitalist exploitation of our legion of fans We never had a photo shoot ,made a video or spoke to the press as we we were in it for the music only No band member was aware of the identity of another band member. This way, individual egos could not interfere with the democratic approach of the group as a whole We never wrote songs believing the world of music is severely over populated
but I assume you all know this anyway | |

| Musically, not too bad. I rather enjoyed a couple of tunes I found on YouTube. I wouldn't recommend them to someone wanting to hear a rockabilly band. I would be more likely to suggest them to someone wanting something hard rockish or even metal due to many of the parts having FAR more rock/metal devices in them than anything else. | |
