I'm very excited for you, Eric, and a bit jealous. Sir Paul often keeps his setlist pretty static for each tour, but you would think a city like Nashville, with its rich musical history, would warrant something special. (Hopefully, he won't try to pass off "Mrs. Vanderbilt" as Tennessee-related, but even a Carl Perkins tune would be cool!) I remember seeing him in 1993 in Kansas City, laying odds that he'd break out "Kansas City / Hey Hey Hey," and sure enough, he played it for the encore! "Kansas City here I come, (Here I AM!)"
One cool thing with Sir Paul: Despite the usual suspects (Hey Jude, Live and Let Die, Let It Be) he will add a few never-before played songs to each tour. In Hyde Park last month, he broke out "I'm Looking Through You," and a rousing sing-a-long version of "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da." He's starting to sound every bit of his 68 years, but who cares? It's friggin' Paul McCartney!
