| Hah, this is the first time my suspicions can be confirmed... I bet the Cat Lee gets on with is Jim. I think Jim gets on well with both, but Brian and Lee...

| I can't remember where the interview was but I remember that Lee seemed pretty hacked about the Brian/ Slim Jim tour of Japan in 2002ish?
I also got the same impression though. I do wonder whether Stray Cats is hard for Lee now as he's used to fronting his own band, I guess Jim doesn't have quite the same adjustment to make...
In any way thought it's a shame as I'd love to see more of Stray Cats, I'm still convinced that there's one more kick-ass rockabilly album in the three of them, but I think time is moving on quick from 2004...

| fwiw.. I've the great privilege of become friends with Buzz Campbell and I know He is busy with Lee and their schedule is filling up for this year. Lee has his own thing and doing well with it. The Stray Cats were a million years ago you know when they were kids, these men are in their 50s.
We're gonna see Lee Rocker tomorrow night playing with Big Sandy and I think Spike from our forum (the Hula Girls) at the Galaxy in Santa Ana.

| Lee Rocker and band are one of my alltime favorites ever. These guys rocking. I just receive "The Cover Sessions" by Lee and it`s a great EP. And it seems to me Lee is a good guy. I just wonder about the quote of his Interview.

let me put it this way.. I was in a band with 3 guys for 5 1/2yrs that had 2-3 gigs a week and we practiced and wrote music twice a week together plus hung out in the down times too watching other bands.. The Bassist was easy going with a friendly quiet dry humor and master of all instruments, the keyboardist was quiet, a concert trained pianist and just wanted to play music or go 4 wheeling... the drummer was loud and obnoxious, super friendly always a show off and cracking jokes loudly to draw attention to himself, he was there for the party and wasnt too concerned about being the best drummer but having the coolest look and gear. then there was me, driven and focus like a laser beam on career success of the band and demanding of full commitment at all costs to beat out all the other bands plus I was obnoxious and loud and pretended I was a talented guitar player. guys who are still friends in the band after a 17yr breakup? Guess who could tolerate the other and who could live next door to the others? the keyboardist and the bassist could live on the same street and go to ball games together and occasionally invite the drummer over on special occasions. the drummer would be happy living next door to the bassist and keyboardist totally unaware they wanted to smother him in his sleep. The lead singer/guitarist and drummer would try to plot ways to have one another handed over to headhunters in borneo, but we act civil towards one another on facebook. btw.. the bassist came over on holiday from Switzerland and layed the fiddle riff on my new album and then proceeded to get me to drink more booze than I ever had in my life and leave me with alcohol poisoning for two days. The mere mention of his name and the word "single malt scotch with sailor jerrys on ice with coca cola" since october 1 makes me want to vomit. moral of this boring story... the bassist and I are slim jim and lee the drummer and I are Brian and Lee the keyboardist is just smart.

| Just wanted to clarify from my message above that I wasn't trying to imply anything against Brian and Lee, the Stray Cats total are my musical heroes and I have full respect for all three of them.
Perhaps I'm just a bit jealous of those that were there at the time and am dreaming of having a little bit more for the here and now!
