| One thing that always puzzled me is the songwriter credits on my vinyl version of Bring It Back Again. It says "Setzer - Rocker - Phantom - J. Burnette". Obviously the J. Burnette can't be Johnny Burnette cause he died in the 60's. Or maybe they borrowed some lyrics or a riff from a Burnette song… Or this is a homonym. Or it's a mistake. Anyone knows more about that? | |

| Hmmm, that's kinda weird... On the label of my vinyl copy of the "Blast Off" album, the composer credits for "Bring It Back Again" reads Brian Setzer/Lee Rocker/Slim JIm Phantom. On the single, "John Burnette" is added to the credits. Just to check a source that should be certain, I logged on to BMI's website, and here's what I found out: BRING IT BACK AGAIN (Legal Title) BMI Work #151712
Songwriter/Composer Current Affiliation CAE/IPI # - KAYE JONATHAN BARNETT BMI 36614491 - PHANTOM SLIM JIM BMI 56123697 - ROCKER LEE BMI 56123008 - SETZER BRIAN ROBERT BMI 140630317 Publishers ROCKAHOLIC SONGS BMI 222918871 SILVER BAY MUSIC BMI 228028386 BMI link to the songI have no idea who Jonathan Barnett Kaye is (apparently he's a songwriter and he's got 80 registred works in the BMI database). Anyone have a clue...? | |
