I can't say too much today but I can say that a VINTAGE STRAY CATS concert will be released on DVD in the coming months. For news check www.leerocker.com and here on FB.

it's good news to have something new but, my point is:
The Montreux show, as well as the Rockpalast one have been on some bootlegs for ages!!
Why not a reedition of Rock Tokyo or Rock Paris ??? Much better!!!
In any case, nice to have something to collect ;-)

I agree - the Montreux show is "old news"! Wouldn't it be cool if they'd dug out something really rare, like for instance this show?

This disc is scheduled to be released on November 6, 2012.
From Amazon: "When the Stray Cats rolled into Montreux in July of 1981 they were one of the hottest properties around. They had 3 hit singles and a UK top 10 album already under their belts along with a string of headlining concerts, all of which had come since their relocation from New York to London in 1980. The band's combination of original songs and rockabilly classics with a punk attitude and style had caught the moment to perfection. Added to this were their considerable musical accomplishments and knack for songwriting. All in all it was a heady concoction and the crowd in Montreux reacted with near hysterical excitement, something rarely seen in what is usually a polite and reserved audience.
