Tomorrow is Veteran's Day. Thank you to those who have served our wonderful country, and to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

Hmmm...I just realized something. My kids have school today. A long, long time ago (back when I was a kid), didn't we used to get off of school for Veteran's Day? It ranked right up there with Memorial Day and Labor Day. Does anyone else remember this, or am I just hallucinating again?

I just read something one of my uncles used to have on the wall of his workshop:

"If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in English, thank a Veteran."
