I know its not until tomorrow, and I trust you will be celebrating with a feast, but I just wanted to start a thread for a guy whose big heart and bigger sense of humour have always been amazing to know. I feel privileged to call you my friend.

A founding member of Riboflavin and the Vitamin D's has his birthday made into a national celebration, while the man who wrote Johnny B. Goode doesn't even get recognized on a postage stamp. There is no justice in the world...

I'd write a song about it, but the poet in me just can't bring himself to rhyme loser and boozer with Motley Crüiser!

He has had 41 opportunities to wish me a happy birthday and squandered them all, so this I say to the talented Mr. Ritchie,
