Friday 1/9/09 BERN at Cafe Cordiale NO COVER! 10pm-1am 


My band BERN (funk-4 horns, 4 singer, 4 rhythm) is playing at Cafe Cordiale in Sherman Oaks Friday January 9 from 10pm-1am. Not original music, but cool funk covers mostly from the 70's that I think musicians would want to play or hear (Tower of Power, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone, Parliament, Earth Wind and Fire, Miiles Davis, etc). There is NO COVER CHARGE so it has been packed and has become quite the musician hang. This will be our last Friday there ever I think. After that I think we will be playing there one Thursday a month starting on February 5 from 9:30pm-midnight.
