Just applied for a job as a photojournalist with my local newspaper. I've been doing a bit of freelance photography for years but this is the first time I've gone for a "real" photography gig. Of course my sample sheet has one of the pics from the Stray Cats Euro tour as the very first picture on the page!

Wouldn't that be bloody awesome. And seeing as I just bought tix for Chris Isaak in March wouldn't mind covering that one too. Though somehow I think the local newspaper would have a hard time seeing the value in having me cover shows taking place 5 hours south of here Wink

You're a shoe-in!! You're an excellent photographer!! And yes, having to wait until Jan. 31 will probably be nerve-racking. But--at least you can star gaze every night to make that extra wish on any falling stars you see.

Never hurts to use every angle you can get.

I know... but you could have one helluva party on that island! That totally sells the idea for ME! But, I see where you're coming from. Seems like they're lookin' for a pretty face. Otherwise, why would they advertise on such a massive platform?
