Those dates were actually scheduled for October 2008...

In anycase, the Motorhead website announced them like 3 months ago.
It's sad to see how websites do work sometimes...

I guess Faith did the prudent thing and waited until it was confirmed Jim was going to be recovered and able to play.

To announce 3 months ago, when Jim`s recovery was in it's very early stages, was a tad premature and one would have thought a sensible web master would have waited.

Shame how some web sites work sometimes eh...

Hm, I don't mean that Dave but if the shows were at an early stage scheduled for October it would have been quite comprehensible that Slim's website had listed them.... The same happened with the DMW tour 2008 together with a SJP Trio tour back in 2007... and some other shows in which Slim is playing but they are never listed

But yeah, SJP.com works quite badly most of the time to be honest, same with Lee Rocker's site.

Despite all my differences with Tommy Maguire, I must admit that he run the site quite properly, trying to keep it up to date as much as possible though I also must put forward that the site could have been highly improved with a lyrics section, other works & guest appearances and some other minor things for the fans.

the website has a good design but it must be updated!
I sent her all the discography updates and no way she's going to upload them, though I must admit that some of the latest pictures added are from my own files (despite I am not always credited) (you know, vintage pics, some other from magazines...

I think the website should include a "guest appearances & other works" section, which I also did for her.... but it's quite unlikely her uploading it

ooops, forgot to mention that I also sent her quite a few rarities for the Jukebox and no chance...

I'm not being sarcastic here...but I'm very curious...do you do anything else besides research and know everything about each individual in the Stray Cats? You seem to have a wealth of information at your disposal. Do you have a job? Do you have a life outside of the Stray Cats? Or just a knack for knowing every little thing about them?

yes, I do have a life:
To put you into the picture, I have 2 university diplomas in English language (one in Spain, the other in England), I'm currently taking the PGCE course (in order to become a teacher in the future).
I also did 4 years of classical piano and I can play the drums too. (no more piano!)

I give private English lessons and work at a friend's restaurant when he calls me to give him a hand.
Besides, I've worked as lecturer in England, I've been a bartener for 4 years and worked at a call centre too.

Unfortunatelly, due to the crisis, it's getting harder and harder to find a job but I try. I'm only 23, so that I did not have time for much more.

Apart from that, I must say that I've been a Stray Cats fan since I was 7 and at the age of 16 that was when I started to collect and research for information. With some of my comments, I know that I am criticising but in a positive way. I think there are quite a few things that could be improved but I don't say they are wrong, just how they could be even better.

However, Stray Cats have been my passion for ages and their music as a band and as solo artist has been always of my interest.

Sorry that I might sound a bit picky sometimes but as a fan, "it's hard" to try to collaborate with the websites without a response at all.

Your passion shows in the wealth of information that you possess and share. I would've bet money that you were a history major though, with your ability to recall dates and such!

I know you're just trying to improve the other websites, but don't take it personally if the various Stray Cats sites don't use your contributions. My suggestion would be to add a few web design classes to your wealth of knowledge, and create your own website, using your powers for good, not evil. I'm sure it would be a valuable resource. Those detail-oriented sites are best run by über fans anyway. You may never have more free time in your life than right now. Seize the day!
