| Thanks Jon! I have 2 questions: 1. Rock This Town (Train Kept A Rolling) do you mean it was a medley? 2. Train Kept A Rolling could it be MYSTERY Train.... (the last Cats song from 2004)?

FrenchyCat To answer your questions FrenchyCat: 1. Yes, it was a medley: Rock This Town > Train Kept A Rollin' > Rock This Town. 2. Our source in Japan confirmed that it was not Mystery Train. Thank you JP!

| Hey Frenchy, Rock This Town / Train Kept A Rollin' (at least the guitar solo) has always been played by Brian. Until we don't get a live recording we can't confirm whether it was just the "usual Train kept a rollin" solo ooooor a proper medley like the Cats used to do back in 1992 (Blood Drive Tour!)
Rocky Mountain Cat, ALWAYS A PLEASURE!!! |

| Jon & Rocky, there're 2 "problems" if I compare your setlists: Jon wrote Good Rockin' Daddy then Your True Love and Gene & Eddie then Gina. But Rocky updated his (wonderful) site and inverted the order; who's right? Sorry it's only details but.... FrenchyCat | |

FrenchyCat Thanks for asking FrenchyCat. Details are very important - if it is not accurate the Archive isn't worth much.... We'll both double-check the info forwarded from our friends in Japan and let you know what the answer is asap.

| Hey Frenchy, as I told Randy through email, until we don't get a live recording from those shows, we won't really know which one is the correct order. In any case, I doubt it very much that at least during the BSO part, Brian has decided to alter or modify the order with Good Rockin' Daddy & Your True Love, specially as at the beginning the songs are likely to be played one right after the other, and not without some to think and rest a little bit on stage. However, I wouldn't be surprised if during the Trio section, Brian had switched one or two songs from the "original" intended set list...
Randy, in any case, don't worry. Your site is great and just for a couple of songs that were played but we don't know whether those were the 3rd or 4th or vice versa, don't worry. It's a very accurate job! |
