If you watch him behind Brian in the few seconds before he says it, he's motioning to someone offstage with his drumstick to put more bass in his monitor. That someone obviously doesn't. He gets pissed off and yells "hey can I have some fucking bass?!"

Yeah, for some reason there was some trouble earlier (to do with the crowd i believe) Because at one point Jim says 'You've broken everything else' refering to the sound system....that's why we get some much desortion on 'Something Else' But i still think that the atmophere just adds to the gritty rock n roll. Like when someone shouts out 'Play wild saxaphone' and Jim says 'What? Can you see a saxaphone up here?' I think the Cats played out of their skin that night.
