This one reminds me of Stray Cat Strut. And boy she looks good here! Wonder if the Cats ever met Kim back in the 80's...

Kim Wilde made my knees go weak and my head spin in 1981.....oh boy oh boy oh boy! I was in love too. Damn sexy kitten!!!! Shame youtube won't let me take the orginal video of 'Kids in America' - this is six months earlier on German tv - obviously mimed. Her trembling voice and sexy innocent looks were the best.

This one too - Her second single. I think these two were her best songs. I do like \'Love Blonde\' but Kim looks a little plastic (too much make up?) Anyway i\'d like a bit of kim
Watching this back sent me to 1981 when i was 15.....Kim Wilde was the perfect woman.....she had the best hair, best face, best body....etc....and a sexy voice. I don\'t know why i didn\'t see her in concert.....but i don\'t think my heart could have taken it!
As for Olivia in Grease....it's strange but i thought she was sexy when she was innocent Sandy....but she did nothing for me when she changed into the leathers and put her hair up!

Even nowadays she still looks hot. And yeah I was in love too haha... Also in love with Olivia Newton John (Grease) around that period.

I remember being in Berlin 1981 and seeing Kim and the Cats on the same TV show, so they might have meet, then again, maybe not

That song was called "Abergavenny", named after a trip to the Welsh town, but that didn't come out until 1968. His biggest hits were "A Teenager In Love" and "Donna", albeit both cover versions. He initially challenged the likes of Cliff Richard for the title of British Elvis but he got married young and lost his appeal to the young ladies of the United Kingdom!!
