Duffy, the new Amy Winehouse?

Somehow you are right... but there is a huge difference between Amy´s and Elvis´ looks and attitude. Elvis never got to the stage drugged or drunk, that I can recall. And he didn´t look like a dead man walking. I think.

Back to the original topic, after sampling some of the tunes from Duffy's cd, I can see the 60's style r&b comparisons to Winehouse, but nothing grabs me like the Back to Black material. I'm still hoping Winehouse gets her act together and makes a comeback worthy of her potential.

Duffy's record is pretty good but nothing compare to Amy's second one in my opinion.

I finally go to see Duffy live a couple of times this week. Very polished perfomances. A true entertainer and just a delight to behold. Her voice was adorable.

I like Amy's voice, I really do, and I do so hope she does not kill herself with the bad, bad stuff, but, man, I'd rather go to that Beth Curry thread and look at her!

You said it Daddio! Beth will make you drool! Seeing those comparison photos on page 1 of this thread of Amy before/after the pipe make me sad. Would somebody please feed that woman?
