Huzzah! The mo-ther-funkin' Zoo Bar!!! I may have to go to Murphy's as well. Plenty of Elvis on Velvet and a video fireplace to boot. Not much of a dance floor, but worth the trip for rockabilly-starved Nee-braska. Hot Rod Lincoln, enjay, get them thar dancin' shoes on for the Lincoln show! Omaha dropped off the last list and now we got 2, count 'em 2! dates in Nebraska!

I was excited to see Stray Cats last week, but I have to say I may be just as excited for Hillbilly Casino, having never seen 'em before. I'm off to buy their DVD to warm up for the show!

Seriously, nice job on landing the gig, D. I hope Brian brings you fellers out on the road to more than the occasional festival. I figure I got about a 500-mile travel radius, so that opens up Minneapolis, Chicago, Denver, KC, Oklahoma City, St Louis, Oneida...

A number of folks were discussin' the kissin' cousins of the Nashvillains and the Hillbilly Casino on Friday night. I have yet to experience the HBC live, but I've seen enough on YouTube, and read enough accounts of the legend that is The Hillbilly Casino.

Fellas, if you happened to retire Get Rhythm/The Humpty Dance from your set, just know there'll be a number of HBC virgins that would lose their minds if you played it in the Cornhusker State.

I've only experienced them once, but it was upon my first visit to downtown Nashville that I got to experience the Hillbilly Casino
at the 5-spot. Besides talent, the show is what sets them apart..
Tall can PBR in hand, sittin against the pool tables I got to witness how
a rockabilly band must have felt to the kids of the mid 50's.
Just freakin rebellious crazy fun and those boys are southern gentlemen
through and through, even offered me beer from their cooler. Made me
feel right at home...in a dark bar...thousands of miles from so cal!
You can see how I am an unabashed fan! ...got all the albums!

I have all the albums as well, and I just ordered the DVD! I can't wait!

Whew wheee! You guys are in for a treat! We had the honor of seeing these guys up in Oneida earlier this year, and whoa...it left us speechless. My hubby spent the entire drive home trying to figure out who we could get to babysit for us for the next couple of nights so we could go see them again. Too bad it didn't work out with the sitter(s)...

It's quite the complement when the hubby wants to see a band night after night.

And the whole Get Rhythm/The Humpty Dance thing...I don't know if this is the reaction that they were looking for, but my gut hurt from laughing when I saw it. I was not expecting that direction for the song at all!

Good tunes, and a great time. What a live performance. Do not miss your chance to see these guys live. Words cannot describe or do these guys justice. Beg, borrow, or steal to see them.

Very energetic & drivin show but the music style was not my style. But good punkish/Iggyish- show anyway.

Sorry you didn't dig it. We're very schizoprhrenic musically, and tend to tune the setlist toward the audience. Playing a 60 minute set on borrowed gear with no sleep (we arrived in Helsinki about 6 hours prior to the show!) we looked out and saw alot of psychobilly fans in the crowd, and leaned our set that way. As many other folks can tell you, some nights we do tons of honkytonk, and straight rockabilly, some nights, it's more rockin. Hopefully when we get back to finland, we can convince you to make it out, and we'll make sure we get a bit more billy in our set.

When ya come to Oz, I don't care what you play! Just Play!

Hey, I didn't say it was a bad show and most of the crowd loved it.

Just trolled youtube and saw more of your bands stuff... GREAT STUFF!!

Just the kinda band I love to see... one that enjoys PLAYING!! And playing really good as well!!
