| I'm just listening to it the first time and I have to say I'm speechless. It's awesome! Go and buy it. I'm only at the 3rd track so far and I already know that it was worth the money. Thanks to Brett for buying the CDs and the Shirt and sending them to me and thanks to Geoff and the Boys for the autographs =)
EDIT: Not one song I don't like on the whole CD! | |

| my pleasure, was a great night. I agree the complete album is very good & varied. "Violets in may" is a big surprise to me. I`m not a folk guy but this tune is really amazing. Title track "Tennesse Stomp" kicks ass. First time listen to it in my car i was near to an accident. "I was made for loving you" (no Kiss song) sang by Ronnie is terrific. etc, etc... The sound of the whole CD is awesome. This is Rock`n`Roll in the year 2010 to me. It´s all in Rockabilly, Country, Blues, Rock. Albums runs always in my car the last 3 days. I even get most of the lyrics...

| Yeah, love the great mix of styles. Especially the country tunes sound brilliant. Love the Song with Dale Watson. | |

| Mark, get thee to www.thehillbillycasino.com pronto! Don't forget the "the". If you need a Setzer connection to get you excited, Ronnie Crutcher, HBC's guitar player (and a damn fine one at that) has been the bass player for the Nashvillains since the 2005 Euro tour, and the Hillbilly Casino's drummer, Andrew Dickson, was behind the kit for the Nashvillains in 2009 as well. The Setzer connection notwithstanding, this Nashville-based band is not to be missed. The man behind the assault vehicle known as the doghouse bass, Geoff Firebaugh, also serves as our HBC correspondent here and is professor-in-residence on all things Clash and Tom Waits. And Nic Roulette is this unstoppable dynamo of a front man. Once you've seen him on stage, you'll never forget it. His performance doesn't just get under your skin - it becomes part of your DNA! You must see them live if they get within several hours of you. You won't regret it. They write most of the material they record, and self-produce some amazing-sounding albums. Their well-chosen covers include Motörhead's "Iron Fist" and This Train's crowd-pleasin' "Mimes of the Old West." I could go on and on, and have in previous incarnations of this board. Pick up on it! Proudly developed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin back in 1844. And if you ever get the chance to visit the land of Cheeseheads, check out the Pabst Mansion. http://pabstmansion.com/"Heineken?! F@#% that $*#t! Pabst Blue Ribbon!" hrg | |
