| Dumb question Dex, but do the Spankox remixes you refer to include the remixed version of A Little Less Conversation that appeared on the Number 1s compilation? | |

I have the disc A little Less Conversation and it is nowhere mentioned that Spankox was involved in this remix! or I am not aware?

And to answer your question Dex, I do not like this work! Yet I loved The Little Less Conversation!

| I think those are okay. Just like you said Dex, they are in the vein of A Little Less Conversation. I'd be interested in TV's opinion given that they sound like they were mixed with Pop-era U2. | |

| They should do Runaway Boys, especially if that brings interest to the original from someone in the remix club world IMHO. | |

| All joking aside I do agree, as long as it holds the spirit of the original. C'mon guys...any DJ's out there!!! | |

| Hum.....just my opnion. I don't like it - sorry. The early Elvis tunes are classics. They don't need tweakin'. I liked 'A little less conversation' as a one off. But in ten years we might have ALL of his top songs 'changed'. I'd rather hear the full Bill Black and Scotty Moore, not ramdom segments. Later Elvis songs would sound better in a mix if we have to go down that road. But with 2000 songs already to choose from, i never get tired of selecting for the usual Presley cataloge! Thanks for letting us hear though. | |

| Yeah, know what you mean Steve, the more I listen to em the shorter my attention span!! I do like Too Much though. To be honest, I think theres always space for a new slant on even the classics, even if its only as a novelty. I certainly dont think those songs are untouchable. I agree about the later songs though, theres a goldmine there. Heard Jay Z doing a rap over Pieces of my Life, which would have been a great idea, but the Elvis bit was speeded up to sound like a chipmonk!! Not very palatable. But, If its done with a bit of respect, Im all for it!! | |
