If so, a good friend sent me a dvd of Japanese television performances, including the Budokon show from this brief tour.

Having seen that - I'd say this was an interesting format, but I'd rather see a Nashvillains show with a guest appearance by Hotei for Back Streets Of Tokyo.

I do like how there were three Eddie Cochran songs performed in the 13-song setlist.

I love to see Setzer going and mixing it up with other artists and while
I really cant dig on those particular artists, I bet its a real honor to
be able to go to Japan and jam with those dudes.
Heck its got to be an amazing thing to go to japan and play rockabilly music PERIOD!!

glad to see that you like these performances. To me, it means something special, basically because we are not used to see Setzer in those situations very frequently, not even guesting at other shows nor having guests at his either. Wish that we could see a bit more of our hero in those situations as well as guesting on some studio albums... it's been a while since the last collaboration

You're right Slim Jon. I'd like to see Brian again in this kind of collaboration.
