| Exciting news indeed. I'm happy about a new orchestra album, especially since some of the tracks will be played during the Christmas tour. | |

| If those 3 songs are kind of the new album, I just can't wait. And a European tour 2010, guess not, but would be nice | |

I said this back in January!! https://hoodoovoodoolounge.darkbb.com/all-things-setzer-f1/make-a-wish-for-2009-t558-15.htmI'm gonna pretend it's happening because I wished for it. Thank you Brian!

| I think it's probably a working title culled from the overall "feel" of the album. Maybe it's a title of one of the tunes or taken from a lyric.
If you're trolling for info/gossip about something in Setzer's personal life inspiring the title, I would say that is highly unlikely. The happy couple and members of her family were spotted at Doheny, leading me to believe all is well.
Not that it's any of our business...
Now if the title were "Lucy In the Sky With Bettie Bangs," I might be a tad more curious.

No, that was not the point. I don´t even know/care how many times he has been married, or how many kids he has. That´s not my problem at all. So, no.... that´s not what I was looking for with my question. I´ve never been concerned about his marriages. I´m not that kind of fan. I was just wondering what´s the story behind that title. I´m sure there´s one, but it doesn´t necessarily has to do with his wife, I guess.

That'd be okay too. Music that provokes emotion of any kind is good stuff. I like having songs that speak to whatever mood I'm in, makes me feel the mood that much more deeply. And if it's a sad/down/lonely/despondent mood, that means I can get out of it that much more quickly too. As for the meaning, there doesn't always have to be hidden meaning in every lyric or title. I would take it as a sign of talent for a writer/songwriter to be able to draw on past experiences, the experiences of others, or to completely manufacture experiences for the purposes of their art. In fact, I reckon it's a necessity. - Rickabilly wrote:

| In true Brian Setzer style, we will be blown away! I for one enjoyed Wolfgang, musically it was jaw dropping, well for me anyway. I'm just back from Wales, was on holiday, with the caravan. Gotta a wait for an appointment from my consultant, had me in last month as a day case, for a small bowel study. Found 5 strichures. So just been taken it easy. Been too lazy anyway. So for me this is good news. Its allways such a nice feeling to await a new Brian Setzer cd. Plenty new guitar riffs to hear. Wee Mark. | |
