haha, that's cool! Is that Bootsy Collins on Upright Bass? I also see Ritchie Sambora, at least I think that's the name of the guy from Bon Jovi^^

Wowh, that's actually 2 years old!!! Drummer is legendary Cindy Blackman of Lenny Kravitz and there are some members of the BSO on the horns

As the father of a 12-year-old girl, I am required to know that Drake Bell is also part of that group. The teen idol recently released a concert DVD featuring his take on "Too Hip, Gotta Go."
Damn, I was so hoping this thread was about a tribute to Hank Sr.

Huh. Had never heard of Drake Bell, but somehow it feels like he sucked the rockabilly right outta that song.
That Hank Jr video is fantastic. I'd completely forgotten about "Are You Ready For Some Football," living down under!

Yeah it's not Rockabilly anymore, but I kinda like this version. And Brian got him to play guitar so he's got taste. Thank God they didn't add a stupid r&b beat to the song....

that´s actually a decent cover.
I bet 99.9% of the people in the crowd had no idea it was a Stray Cats tune.

They do now! Drake's version reminds me of Setzer's Rock this town from the cd Lonely Cat. Almost same swinging beat.

Oh, that 1986 Rock This Town version is actually my fav cover of that tittle, together with the Nashvillians adaptation with the piano intro and solo, but that pop style is superb!
