Brian Setzer DVD - Red Hot

Ever seen this one?
a comprehensive anthology of Brian Setzer's appearances on american TV
in great quality !!!

There are 4 DVDs, no those crappy DVD-R, from that collection... Japanese label. I have two, one called "Kool Kats" (BSO Woodstock 99 and BST 2002) and "Rant N Rave" (SCats Rockpalast 1983, Montreux 1981, NYC 1983)

would you know what the other two are and anyone in the USA have any idea where to get these? Thanks in advance

There is another one called "Storm The World", with the Rockpalast 1981, Sao Paulo 1990 shows and some TVs by the BSO

In that case, Jon, there must be more than four DVDs, 'cos I have these:
- Brian Setzer "Red Hot"
- Brian Setzer "Kool Kats"
- Stray Cats "Rant n' Rave"
- Stray Cats "Rumbling Through The Years" (with US TV shows 1981 - '96; SC, BS and BSO)

Could've been interesting to find out how many of these - slightly unofficial - DVDs there really are, how many of the clips and shows that overlap each other, etc...

Oh yes, I've heard about that Rumblin' Through The Years. Isn't that one with the 2004 logo or something like that?? Is it DVD or DVD-R??

It does borrow elements from the "Rumble In Brixton" DVD, both the logo, cat's head and title ("rumble"). It has a fold-out digipack kind of cover, with a collage of flyers, posters and tickets on the inside. It even has a signed photo of Slim Jim from the 04 tour as part of the cover lay-out... I have official DVDs (although not by Setzer or Stray Cats) that look worse. Of course, many of the clips (esp the early stuff) are low quality. But it's fun to have'em.

Edit: Oh, and it's NOT a DVD-R. It's printed.

I have located the three remaining, but I am a bit strapped for cash at the moment... I am having my new retainer for the lower teeth and it's some 400 Euro... geez!!

Anyway, once I get paid by the end of the month, I'll sure go for one of them ;-)

You can find also a bunch of Brian Setzer Gretsch Guitars on ioffer. All made in China and very cheap, Mister! Sure these guitars are totally crap.

But there are a lot of cool things at ioffer as well.

if you dont mind me correcting you I would say "on IOffer", since in English it's "on TV, on the radio, on the Internet, on Ebay".

I've used Ioffer a few times but only for DVD's (Setzer & Elvis) without any problems, the seller was in the states.
Check out their history first just like Ebay.

I'd steer well clear of that White Falcon though!

Yes. i agree, Ioffer is ok.
And you could find weird seller on ebay as well.

I have also used iOffer with good results.

I only made 1 purchase and did as much research on the seller as I could before completing the sale.

But as always, cover your bases, look out for the scam, and expect to be buying a bootleg.

I would recommend you to stay away from them, aye.

There are many DVD-R and CD-R, which are nice, but they are that, R!!! At least from my point of view as a collector, I only go for factory pressing/silver CD-DVD, otherwise it would be endless.

This was the Setzer DVD I bought on Ioffer:

But for this the guitar cost to much money...and i think the smoke could be dangerous.
