| Hope all my American friends had a great 4th of July. I spent the day at Hootenanny, and have uploaded vids of Lee Rocker, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the Reverend Horton Heat. The audio quality is truly awful, and for that I apologize - tht's what I get for being so near the speakers (I'm certain I did plenty of damage to my ears if not my camera. Must remember earplugs from now on.) If you turn the volume way, way down you can still get an idea of how they were. A fun day, but I'm glad to be doing nothing today! https://www.youtube.com/user/ahaze | |

| Thanks for sharing.
It´s a shame the sound is so poor, cause the picture quality is great. Thanks though for your effort. | |

| Thanks Andi!!
Did Lee play something unplanned or exceptional??? I don't know whether you guys will agree with me, but sometimes I feel somehow ashamed for Lee Rocker, that he still has to play Stray Cats songs when he has a wonderful solo career behind and enough songs to create a nice set list with his own compositions or other versions. I mean, he has beautiful cuts like Rumblin' Bass, Jimmy Jimmy, Goin' Down Hard, Evil, Screaming Hunger, Ain't No Way and many others that should be included in the set.... in any case, anything he does is perfect but it's a pity that such wonderful songs are left out... |

| Each band only played a 30 minute set with the exception of the Rev and Los Lobos who each played for an hour. Thus, the setlists were very abbreviated. I think the Lee Rocker band did do a few more newer originals, but none of the ones you mentioned (that I can recall) Jon. David, I agree, it's a shame the sound sucks. Unfortunately at a festival with a massive crowd, something has to be sacrificed if you want to be at the front - in my case, the audio, my ears and the now-sunburned skin on my shoulders! All in the name of getting some good photos. http://www.flickr.com/photos/andihazelwood/sets/72157620865719329/My fave of the day is this one of The Rev: I'm also fond of this one of Kim Nekroman - This was shot from the very back of the crowd (giving my ears a break) so it isn't as sharp as it could be, but I managed to capture him with his eyes rolled back in his head - cool, it suits him! | |

| I agree with you at 100%, Jon, Lee made a lot of great tunes and he should play them on stage. And why not forgetting those beautiful Cats tunes and perform 1 or 2 Buzz and Brophy's songs? FC | |
