| Hey Bad Kitty,
You just judged the tracks from short Itunes clips, so why say I'll reserve judgement.
Perhaps you're mental

| If this info has already been posted, ignore my post, but I found this on shorefire.com: http://www.shorefire.com/clients/bsetzer/I'm wondering if the photo used in the "latest releases" is the album cover? | |

| While it's true that Brian's vocal range at 50 isn't what it was at 30, (show me a rocker's that is) I think both Trouble Train and Lonely Avenue stay in registers that suit his vocals very well. Even though the 30-second clips on the internet don't do the songs justice, I think both give a pretty good idea of what Brian's voice is throughout the songs. It certainly helps to listen to them on something other than computer speakers.
Maybe it's my years as an orchestral player, but I was more focused on the sound of the Big Band. I listened to Lonely Avenue maybe 30 times the first few hours after I bought it, and I still couldn't quote the lyrics. The orchestration and the sound of Brian's voice, especially on Lonely Avenue, are pure ear-candy for me.
I think there's a tinge of weariness present in Brian's voice on Lonely Avenue that suits the song very well.
As for Trouble Train, the edge in Brian's voice has softened a bit from the Guitar Slinger days, but I love the mood set by the Big Band arrangement. I can't wait to hear the three instrumentals, or the rest of the album, for that matter.

Mark WOW and MEOW!!!!! I was simply expressing the impression I got from a short clip, which is why I say I will reserve judgment until I hear the whole thing. Get over yourself! | |

| Hi, after listing a few times to this 4 new songs, i can say my favorite is
Lonely Avenue It is not so interesting for me as a guitar player, but it`s a fantastic song and arrangment.
Mr. Jazzer, Mr. Surfer & Trouble Train are very good as well.
But the Avenue Song...awesome.
It is a fantastic song for movies, autumn car rides, whatever.
Mr. Setzer: if you ever read this here. thank you very much...can`t wait for the album.
nice weekend to all. | |

| Hehe, yes good ideas, but i think The Brian is a hardworking musician Always on Tour and a record like "Lonely Avenue" is not work for a weekend or two. | |
