The pre chorus to the Dave Edmunds song 'Every Time I See Her' is certainly reminiscent of what would become the bridge after the guitar solo in the Stray Cats 'Runaway Train'.
(I don't know what's with the Final Fantasy clip though )
For me though, this certainly isn't a negative or bad thing. I find it very interesting when somebody can take any given source material and adapt or transform it.

I was listening to the Sun records box set yesterday & a lot of the Carl perkins stuff is very similar too , just that classic thing being carried on ..
