It defintely can have that "air" about it like a good 335, but without being too much in the Gibson camp.

lol, maybe. TV Jones is a huge Chuck berry Fan, (i read it on facebook) And the Neck PU is perfect for songs like Maybelline... Very Happy

I have put tvjones classics and pwrtrons in Dots before and they just sound like really nice
gibsons with twang.. almost like there is "air" encircling the roundness of gibbey tone.

the spectrasonic is one badass hillbilly machine but it will rock your metal world too Twisted Evil

It's a heck of a guitar. The only guitars I long for now are a hollow maple box Gretsch, and maybe a dearmond equipped jet...and maybe a vintage ES330/Casino
