| I have made a friend, she is a very sweet lady and has made me now appreciate Brunettes. Last year I made a stupid comment on the forum here (whats new) and she found out (someone told on me) so I had to beg forgiveness. All to say man oh man, this gal gave me a hug at NAmm show and I havent recovered!! I think Sabina Kelley must now step down from my pinup hall of fame. Then she posed with something actually good looking; the new TIM signature Gretsch..... take a look: I'm fully lusting over that curvy black beaut'.... .....THE GRETSCH! the GRETSCH!! just the GRETSCH | |

| I'm troubled that I cant shake it off, I think she reminds me of the girl I broke up with the day I met my wife... Andrea haunted me. Think I need to go drink some whiskey and write another song. | |

| its a bit expensive for what it is, these are retailing at £1000 in the uk, for what is an electromatic in dull black and with gold hardware, for that sort of money you could buy a cheaper electromatic, but some hot tvjones pickups and dull the paint with some tee-cut and still have change for a hardcase, which incedently they dont include | |

| it's not just a plain electromatic! It's an exact copy of a Baldwin Country Club, with HS Filters and Original Tailpiece. Many reviews said it was even higher in quality than the other electromatic signature guitars. You pay some 2500$ for the replica of a Baldwin White Falcon. | |

| so it should be for being twice the price of a regular electromatic, sorry im just not a real lover of signature guitars, especially not when they are aimed at younger players, take for instance the gibson billie jo lp jnr, that is twice the price of a regular lp jnr and the only real difference is a p-100 pickup, the tom delonge model which was a a very cheap 335 tarted up with a paintjob and a single pickup and was priced twice the amount that the guitar it was based on. For the money they are asking you are in touching distance of a discounted gretsch anniversary, which is a real new gretsch not a tarted up electromatic. But there is no denying it Kim Falcon is HOT, i would have picked up an A chord twice as quick if she had been my teacher | |

It is literally the economic recreation of a country club including the 17" lower bout.. ya its heavier than the Setzer phoenix and the fretboard aint a party like the Phoenix but if it hits musiciansfriend.com for $899 its the best damn deal on the planet for guys that cant muster $4K+ on a gretsch. 'course a pro model gretsch 6118T anniversay brand new is $1000 street too..and it has a real bigsby.. no "licensed bigsby" fakers.. | |

| I guess im a bit disapointed, after becoming a house owner for the 1st time, and having to sell alot of my gear for a lot less than it was worth to get together the deposit, i read about this guitar and thought wow not only is it in homage to one of my favorite artists but importantly it was an electromatic which in my book generally mean affordable, so went and scanned all the good shops over here for one. Only to find out it was £1000!!! Which i know is not alot based on what it is based on, but it is alot for what is supposed to be from a range aimed at people which cant quite afford the authentic 'Gretsch sound' especially one which has been brought out to please the legions of Rancid fans who generally are younger fans with less money for gear. And i stand by my comment that for a little more you can get a proper gretsch, with a bit of haggling you could probably even find a flat black hot rod for not alot more second hand, or scan ebay when im moving and grab my pheonix for £1000 Saying that if any of you lovely people from the US can get one for $899 which equals about £550 i would think very long and hard about asking someone trustworthy to buy one for me and ship it over to me... | |

| Whoa! They both look great. I like the matte finish on the guitar and her figure is impeccable. | |
