Oh lordy! I knew this day was coming but not this soon!
1275 USD is the damage to feel the punchy bounce and jangle of a blonde bassman plus reverb?
I have to see what I can put up for sale...may have to sacrifice the CR ...and I can't forget a cab...
what's the estimated run(s) amount? Or is this kind of a one-at-a-time thing?

they are going to be built like my preamps, per order one at a time, 100% prepayment. Cant do it any other way since the chassis are completely done in portland then shipped down to me.

Hey Tavo,
Sounds great (as always!)
What does the final cost come out to for the 240v version?

The 240v version is a $100 upcharge as that power tranny has more iron and a few other variations that have to be addressed in the chassis. Got a question, what kind of 3 prong AC cord plug do you guys have and is it standard as well say in Oz?

Holy schnikes Richard, that thing is beautiful. I predict ebay will be busy for a bit with all of us unloading our lesser goods so we can pony up for the real thing. I got some bunkbeds and a swing set that need to go.
How is that DMB delay? Really nice slapback, how is the sleepwalk?

Thats why I got the DMB.. so I could get those triplets with the off kilter warble. PLUS it has effects loop so you can put another analog delay in that with say a dejavibe and I DARE you to say it doesnt sound all vintage tape like.
Or you could just insert a Graphic EQ too..
Straight out of the box its very cool but it doesnt sound like a vintage Deluxe Memory man with all the hiss and slightly overdrive slapback... WHICH I AM fine with

here is a link to a small photo album I started on my FB page mostly about Buzz Campbell's "peroxide blonde" custom I made for him. He's playin with Lee Rocker Band as well he has a new album out of his own.
that stings just a little to see that. I gotta have one! 63/64 smooth blonde/gold sparkle (if available) style. Or I'd do rough blonde/wheat if that's what it is .
Buzz's amp looks solid!

'64 gold sparkle is unobtanium.. 63' wheat totally avail.
that should make it a little easier to choose, not to mention finding a matching speaker cab.
speaker cabs easy! ...what about baby blue with white cane? I want that

Where do we go to order? How many choices do we have on box type and style? When does Setzer order his to go with his Nocturne(s). You are truly one for the ages Tavo.

jonny.. I havent bothered to put the Blondeshell on my website because working capital on amplifiers is insane. to do a run of say 10 amps would require a pocket book of $15,000... so the amps stay sort of word of mouth and are built per order. If you want one and can pay upfront, we build it. Also..since I'm not making a run of amps, and its a custom hotrod kind of setup right now.. I'm open to several custom tolex choices but the faceplates, knobs, grill must stay after all this is blonde fullerton california w/ a knod to Setzer

I definitely appreciate the obsession! Now I can have a vintage sounding blonde with out the upfront and occuring vintage blonde costs (ofcourse when I finally get the Blondeshell cash!!)
