Ok, I'll negative nancy on this one. I love all those players, but the ubiquitous guitar hero jam drives me nuts. Too much noise, too little music. Reminds me of how when I meet someone thats a guitar player, we get together for "a jam". I sit there and watch the things he can do great that I can't do, then he watches me do the same, then it devolves into a 12 bar blues jam that lasts about 1000 bars too long because we both ran out of ideas after 24. Then the wife gets pissed because he won't go home and it's a school night for the kiddies, but I can't go to sleep cause I'm all jacked up on mountain Dew and Coors, so I'm crabby all next day at work.

Vic, you've distilled a lot of truths in your post. Well said. I can't tell you how many times I've experienced the same thing, except for the Mountain Dew.
