- hello shaker
you say ""I use the pedal pretty much the way Buzz Campbell demo'd it in the video clip, """
I also bought a burriss, but I do not see correctly the parametre of buzz campell My computer is old and dark could you say to me the parametre of boost squeaky clean which buzz campbell uses on the demonstration ? tank you very much elvis Hi Elvis Brett is right, re the settings Buzz uses. The best and really the only way to find the right settings is to use your ears! I just checked my Boostiest after the last gig, I had the Overdrive at Gain 8-9 O'clock, Treble 1-2 O'clock & Level around one O'clock. Boost Output 11 o'clock, Highs 1 o'clock, Input 12 o'clock. But that might change at the next gig, depending on the room. Hey Brett really glad to hear you got you Boostiest sorted Cheers John

btw.. have you played your Dlx reverb with a set of 6L6wgbs and a solid state rectifier plug? that amp is very very versatile... Hi TV I've been giving the idea of 6L6's in the Dlx reverb a bit of serious thought. Do you know where the bias should be set with 6L6's installed? Thanks John

| i use a bunch of pedals on the guitar: a boss AW-3 on the distortion setting(play lead guitar through the bass port on it for a beefy sound), a danelectro reverb(with slap back echo...) a danelectro tremelo(sparingly) and maybe a soundtank chorus or a boss chorus for a bit of a tape-delay effect... when i'm playing my hammond or roland organ i use the boss for some distortion or the danelectro leslie simulator... i have an early version of that pedal, with the massively overstated gain, so it gives up a nice ROAR! when it comes on! boss are the best pedals though... | |

| ...and since then, i've added a BOSS blues-driver to the set-up, that is actually better than the wah... it really brings out the tone in my guitar, especially the higher end of the sound... a great pedal! | |

Thanks John Off hand I can give you the basic spec given for 6L6WGB/5881 (these are not the stupid 5881sovtek tube you find in fender amps) this is only for the small bottle 6L6 which is not to far from your 6V6 but yet ASS kicking good. " Any 5881/6L6WGB The reason they're included in the grey area is because of their specs; a maximum of 360 volts and 23 watts on the plates, and a maximum screen rating of 270 volts at 3 watts. vacuumtubes.com warns "DO NOT USE IN AMPS CALLING FOR 6L6GC's. They will likely melt down and damage your amp." So, they'll remain in this category under "proceed at your own risk.""
