| Guys, a few month ago i started to play for a german singer called John Barron who sings a lot of Elvis songs but without copying the King. That was the reason why he got the chance to play 2 tours with Scotty Moore in Germany in 2000 and 2002. So for about 12 weeks he received an invitation by Scooty Moore to join his birthday celebration in Memphis. John was asking what about bringing his band to Memphis and play a few songs as a tribute to Scotty. And they said yes! So we booked a flight to Memphis and played tonight at Scotty Moore birthday celebration in Memphis at the Gibson centre. AND we played "Thats allright" and " Blue moon of kentucky" together with Lee Rocker!!!!
What a night!

| Rickabilly, now i got it... TV: it will take a few days to get all pics. I have only a few on my cam. Until now no pics together with Lee. Butb the Gibson guys made a lot pics. First 2 hours i was thinking i`m at the wrong person at this place. DJ Fontana came in, Priscilla Presley and Jerry Schilling came in, Lee Rocker and Brophy Dale, Sonny Burgess and the legendary pacers played before us. I was so nervous!!! But Gail, long time partner by Scotty Moore, announced us very nice to the audience. After the show all the people were very, very nice and friendly. It seems to us they liked what they saw on stage. Scotty was very handsome and friendly. Unbelievable. I met Jimmy Russel and his Band, Paul Ansell was there and was playing later. Finally we`ve had a jam session. It was really heaven on earth for us northern german boys. I know i was very lucky to join this event. But sometimes things like that happend. | |

| CONGRATS Jürgen! This is sooooooooooooooo awesome - I´m also grren of envy, but feel VERY happy for you. I think if I had to play there I would have been scared sh*tless, so I´m glad it was YOU and not me being there. Thanks for sharing these nice moments and looking forward to some more vids/pics. | |

in your first rock group. This is epic J! truly. Yes, it is and i`m really thankful. I know it has a lot to do with luck. To be at the right time at the right place. A thing that didn`t happen so much in my life. I`m now back home and still in a great mood... I love your country and your people. USA is a fantastic country. I don`t talk about politics, economic or what ever. I`m talking about nice and pleasant people i met. And your cars sound much better than ours... I can fully understand how you felt when you met the King of Rockabilly. And you are doing such a great work with your pedal business. Buzz Campbell, Brophy Dale, Duane Eddy are some of your clients!!!! Sometimes life is good. | |
